Description

• We are a forward-thinking agricultural enterprise seeking a passionate and experienced Agronomist to lead and optimize our plantain and cassava production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best agronomic practices for plantain and cassava cultivation
• Conduct soil and crop health assessments to improve yield and sustainability
• Design and oversee fertilization, irrigation, and pest control programs
• Train and supervise farm staff on crop management techniques
• Monitor crop performance and provide regular reports to management
• Collaborate on research and development initiatives to improve crop varieties and resilience.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years hands-on experience with plantain and cassava farming 
• Strong knowledge of tropical soil management, disease control, and post-harvest handling
• Familiarity with precision agriculture tools and data analysis
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
