Job Title: All-Terrain Crane Operator
Location: Kano
Mission
Perform the tasks inherent in driving vehicles and equipment, according to the superior instructions and rules in force, to guarantee efficient compliance with the defined procedures, the operational reporting of the activity and the respect for the established quality, environment and safety rules.
ResponsibilitiesSafely operate 160-ton and 250-ton all-terrain cranes;
Perform lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and manufacturer specifications;
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any defects or unsafe conditions;
Ensure correct crane setup, including outriggers, leveling, and boom configuration;
Read and interpret load charts to ensure safe lifting operations;
Work closely with Lifting Supervisors, Riggers, and Banksmen;
Comply with all company HSE policies and international lifting standards;
Maintain the crane in excellent operating condition and promptly report maintenance requirements.
RequirementsValid Crane Operator Licence/Certification;
Proven experience operating 160T and/or 250T all-terrain cranes;
Good knowledge of lifting operations, load charts, and crane safety procedures;
Strong commitment to safe working practices;
Ability to work in a demanding construction environment;
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
