Job Summary

• We are hiring a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage and grow primary sales within the Benue territory for a leading FMCG company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing distributor relationships, guiding a team of sales executives, and developing territory-specific strategies to boost sales and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve primary sales targets for assigned SKUs and variants within the Lagos territory.
• Set and communicate clear sales quotas for sales executives, ensuring they are equipped and guided to meet targets.
• Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with distributors and ensure consistent supply chain performance.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends; design counter-strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Enhance brand visibility and awareness to drive product penetration and market share.
• Collect, analyze, and report on market and sales data to aid in business decision-making.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Marketing, Business, or related discipline preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with team management
• Proven experience handling distributor networks and territory sales.
• Professional certifications or training in sales or marketing is a plus.
• Strong product presentation and negotiation skills.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
