We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Logistics Manager
Location: Abuja
Key Responsibilities
Develop daily and hourly logistics plans based on gas demand forecasts and customer flow rates.
Coordinate closely with plant operator/ Operations department to align dispatch with production output.
Ensures contingency plans are in place for route disruptions or emergencies.
Supervise dispatch schedules and ensure vehicle documentation is complete and valid.
Oversee real-time tracking of fleet
movement to ensure route compliance, no over speeding, and timely delivery.
Supervise the logistics officers to ensure all fleet activities comply with safety regulations usage, and HSE Policies.
Review and validate logistics reports: daily dispatch logs, fuel usage, delivery confirmations, and maintenance status.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 10 Years plus logistics experience, preferably in the gas or energy sector.
Solid Knowledge of fleet operations, tracking systems, safety procedures, and Nigerian transportation laws.
Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics Management Software (e.g., ERP or fleet management tools)
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in a CNG/NGV is highly desirable.
Ability to flow in Hausa language is an added advantage.
