Assistant Manager, Civil Engineer

We are seeking an innovative Civil Engineer to conceptualize, develop and construct a wide range of projects in the built and natural environment from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities


Oversee, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects ranging from small-scale to large-scale in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
Perform on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other sources)
Conduct technical and feasibility studies and create blueprints that meet technical specifications
Evaluate potential risks, materials and costs
Provide guidance and creatively resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies
Supervise and mentor staff and communicate with various stakeholders
Transfer the resulting structures and services for use
Track progress and prepare reports on project status
Oversee budget and procure equipment/materials
Adhere to guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and produce technical files and other technical documentation as required


Qualifications


Demonstrated 10 - 15 years of experience in civil engineering
Proficient knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools
Expertise in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
Project management and supervisory abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional engineering license
B.Eng/M.Eng in Civil Engineering
