Job Title: Assistant Manager – Production

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly competent and results-driven Assistant Manager with an engineering background and practical experience in production management.
The successful candidate will support the management team in overseeing production activities, coordinating personnel, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing and coordinating daily production operations.
Monitor production activities to ensure targets, quality, and deadlines are achieved.
Supervise and coordinate production staff and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Assist in planning production schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
Identify production challenges and recommend effective solutions.
Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and operational costs.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Work closely with engineering, maintenance, quality control, procurement, and other departments.
Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to management.
Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Support the Production Manager/General Manager in achieving operational objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
Proven experience in Production Management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, planning, and operational management.
Candidates who can speak Chinese/Mandarin will have an added advantage.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant production/management software is an advantage.
Ability to speak Chinese/Mandarin is highly preferred and will be an added advantage.
Candidates with experience working with Chinese-owned or Chinese-managed manufacturing companies will be particularly advantageous.

Technically inclined with good engineering knowledge.
Able to analyze production problems and make practical decisions.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
