Job Title: Assistant MEP Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
Assists MEP manager in coordinating all activities of MEP department
Identifies business opportunities for MEP product & services
Attends to project enquiries from clients
Initiates site visitation/inspection to access project quotation/design, also to identify project constraints.
Coordinates vendors & sub-contractors input towards project execution
Prepares project cost analysis, program of work (pow), work method statement (wms), job hazard analysis (jha), shop and as-built drawing
Coordinates all ongoing project activities
Prepares installation close-out report & feedback from client
Organises job induction, safety and cost control training to the members of MEP team & vendors
Attends to any other jobs that may be assigned from time to time by the MEP manager
Ensures revenue growth of MEP Business units and meets set financial target at all time.
Ensures timely acknowledgement of all enquiries within 24 working hours of receipt.
Ensures the provision of detailed site report within 24hours of inspection, also
Ensures costing are accurate and profitable and to ensure required designs/selections meets customer stated and implied needs at all times.
Ensures material procured and Installation are properly monitored and delivered within stipulated time
Ensures judicious use of collected items for the job with much emphasis on the scope of work, Safety of Personnel and customer’s satisfaction at all times.
Education and Experience
Education:
First degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Professional Certification is an added advantage
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience
Skills and Competencies:Technical:Knowledge of Building, Building service systems, MEP conceptual Design, its Construction and Subcontracting.
Stakeholder management
Knowledge of energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, BIM or green building.
Communication (Verbal and Written)
SalaryN500,000 - N750,000 / Month.
