Job Description
You will be responsible for greeting customers, scanning and processing purchases, accepting payments (cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments), issuing receipts, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Will also assist customers with inquiries, handle returns or exchanges according to store policies, and help keep the checkout area clean and organized.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Scan items and process transactions accurately.
Accept and process various payment methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when required.
Count and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Assist customers with questions about products, prices, and promotions.
Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer service.
QualificationsCandidates should possess a First School Leaving Certificate with 2 years experience.
Previous cashier or customer service experience.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift light items when necessary.
Experience in odoo is an added advantage
Requirements:Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Honesty, reliability, and teamwork.
Basic computer or point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.
