Communication and Social Media Volunteer

Position Overview


We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive volunteer to enhance our social media presence and disseminate communication content about Ensemble Aid Foundation's humanitarian efforts.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in social media usage and video editing, with a passion for proposing fresh ideas and creating engaging content.


Primary Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:


Develop and schedule content for Ensemble Aid Foundation (EAF) social media channels: posts, stories, and reels.
Capture and edit photos and videos during EAF office and field activities.
Interact with comments, messages, and engage with our online community.
Monitor social media metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach) and propose enhancements.


Communication:


Gather quotes, stories, and feedback from community members and project beneficiaries.
Collect quotes, stories, and feedback from EAF team members.
Ensure all content adheres to privacy, dignity, and humanitarian communication guidelines.


Visibility:


Assist in designing flyers, banners, and basic communication materials.
Perform supplier assessments and gather price information for communication materials and visibility items.
Support the organization of communication campaigns or online events.


Qualifications & Skills


Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in using major social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram is essential.
Creativity and innovation are crucial attributes.
Basic video editing skills are required.
Ability to communicate and engage effectively with humanitarian workers, community members, and local authorities is necessary.
The candidate must demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities.
