Slum and Rural  Health Initiative is a nonprofit organization that started operations in 2017 and is officially registered in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and the Gambia It improves access to healthcare information and services in Africa, especially in vulnerable and underserved communities using the tools of advocacy, research, and technology. We are a ‘multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, social scientists information technology experts, researchers, graphic designers, and social entrepreneurs who are passionate about changing the sad narrative of healthcare information and service delivery in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and other parts of Africa. Role Overview

Create compelling multimedia content that brings SRHIN’s mission, programmes, and impact to diverse audiences, while supporting our social media platforms through content production, and day-to-day platform management.

Develop content for SRHIN's website, blog, newsletters, reports, and social media platforms Translate programme data and stories into engaging, accessible content Collaborate with programme teams to gather stories and information from the field Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content Support the development of donor and stakeholder communication materials

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field Minimum of 2 years' experience in content writing/creation, preferably in the NGO or health sector Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms Ability to simplify technical/health information for general audiences.
