Prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards-This includes chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and assembling dishes.
Maintain clean and organized workstations, sanitize equipment, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Monitor ingredient levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage portion control to reduce waste
Work closely with other kitchen staff,kitchen assistantand line cooks to ensure timely service and efficient workflow
Handle high-pressure situations during busy service periods, multitask effectively, and adapt to changing menu requirements.
Suggest ideas for daily specials or seasonal dishes and assist with recipe development.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment.
SalaryN70,000 - N90,000 monthly.
