 Job Title: Cost Accountant, FSC

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities

Analyse production costs and compare actual costs against budgets and standard costs. Prepare product costing, cost forecasts, budgets, and profitability reports. Review procurement and production costs to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and ensure accurate inventory valuation. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend measures to improve profitability. Maintain accurate cost accounting records, reports, and databases. Support audits, month-end and year-end financial activities. Prepare regular cost and management reports for decision-making.

BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–5 years experience in Cost Accounting, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment. Experience in production costing, inventory management, procurement, and cost control. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. Excellent analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an advantage. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
