Job Title: Creative Production Manager
Location: Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time Summary
The Creative Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering creative projects from concept to completion. The role ensures that productions are delivered on time, within budget, to the required creative standard and with effective coordination of people, resources and external vendors. The role serves as the link between the creative, production, client service and operations teams, ensuring that creative ideas are translated into well-executed productions and deliverable.
Key Responsibilities
Translate approved creative concepts into practical production plans. Develop production schedules, timelines, budgets and resource requirements. Coordinate photoshoots, video productions, events, activations, installations and other creative projects. Manage projects from pre-production through execution and post-production. Coordinate creative teams, photographers, videographers, designers, stylists, decorators, technical teams and other production personnel. Ensure teams understand project briefs, timelines and deliverables.
Source and coordinate production vendors, suppliers and contractors. Obtain and compare quotations where required. Negotiate costs and delivery timelines within approved limits. Monitor vendor performance and quality. Ensure materials, equipment and services are available when required.
Prepare and monitor production budgets. Track project expenditure against approved budgets. Control production costs and minimize unnecessary expenditure.
Conduct production readiness checks before execution. Ensure compliance with agreed creative specifications. Identify and mitigate production, safety and logistical risks. Conduct post-production reviews and document lessons learned. Ensure proper handling and return of production equipment and materials.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Mass Communication, Creative Arts, Theatre Arts, Film Production, Marketing, Project Management, Business Administration or related discipline. 5–7 years' experience in creative production, project management, advertising, media, events or a related environment. Demonstrated experience managing creative projects from concept to delivery. Experience coordinating multiple teams, vendors and production resources. Experience managing production budgets and timelines.
