Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently conduct deliveries using the company’s electric delivery bike, ensuring all items reach customers in good condition and within the expected timeframe.
Confirm delivery addresses, customer details, orders, and special instructions before commencing each delivery.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize unnecessary delays.
Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and representing the company.
Handle all delivered items with care to prevent damage, spills, loss, or contamination.
Maintain regular communication with the supervisor regarding delivery status, delays, customer concerns, or changes in instructions.
Obtain proof of delivery where required and accurately report completed, unsuccessful, or delayed deliveries.
Maintain the electric bike in a clean, safe, charged, and roadworthy condition and immediately report any mechanical or battery-related issues.
Comply fully with traffic laws, road-safety requirements, and company procedures governing the use of the electric bike.
Wear the required uniform and safety equipment and maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
Promptly escalate accidents, customer complaints, failed deliveries, security concerns, or other incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
Handle company property, customer items, and confidential information responsibly.
Perform other delivery and operational duties assigned by management.
RequirementsProven experience riding and operating an electric bike is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of Abuja roads, routes, neighbourhoods, and major landmarks is required.
Must possess a valid driver’s licence appropriate for the operation of the vehicle.
Demonstrated ability to navigate Abuja efficiently and deliver within agreed timelines.
Good knowledge of basic road safety and traffic regulations.
Reliable, punctual, responsible, and physically fit.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
