Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Job Summary
The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of products, documents, and other company items between the pharmacy, customers, branches, vendors, and other designated locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver orders, products, documents, and other items to customers and designated locations promptly.
Pick up products, documents, or supplies from vendors and other company locations.
Ensure all items being transported are properly handled and delivered in good condition.
Confirm delivery details and obtain appropriate proof of delivery where required.
Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections.
Handle company documents, products, and information with confidentiality.
Maintain the assigned motorcycle in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
Ensure the motorcycle is properly parked and secured when not in use.
Comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Ensure the motorcycle and required documents remain valid and up to date.
Report delays, accidents, breakdowns, failed deliveries, or other challenges to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
Collect payments or documents from customers when assigned to do so and remit them appropriately.
Assist with other logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
RequirementsMinimum of SSCE; OND/NCE is an added advantage.
Valid motorcycle riding licence.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a dispatch rider or in a similar role.
Must have good knowledge of local roads and routes.
Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, honest, and responsible.
Ability to use Google Maps or other navigation applications.
Must have a strong understanding of road safety rules.
