Job Title: Electrical Engineering Intern (open to Corpers)

Location: Illupeju and its environ - Lagos
Employment Type: Internship

Role Overview

• We are looking for motivated graduate interns or fresh Corpers in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines to join our team.
• This internship offers hands-on exposure to Building Engineering services and Smart Building solutions, with opportunities to support real-world projects from design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Learning

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical control systems, lighting automation, and energy management systems.
• Support engineers in panel building, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Participate in site inspections, equipment checks, and troubleshooting activities.

Project Support:

• Assist Project Engineers in tracking tasks, updating reports, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• Support in maintaining project records, drawings, and material submissions.

Research & Development:

• Research innovative building technologies, IoT devices, and energy efficiency strategies.
• Contribute ideas for system optimization and sustainable practices.

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and MEP specialists.
• Prepare presentations, progress reports, and technical notes for internal and client meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent graduate (or Corp member) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of Mechanical, electrical systems, and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn new technologies.
