Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
Support chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking activities
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
Ensure proper storage of food items in line with hygiene standards
Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy work environment
Help with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Perform any other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and take instructions

SalaryN75,000 - N80,000 monthly.
