Unical Microfinance Bank Limited was originally incorporated as Atakpa Community Bank Limited in 1993. It later became Unical Community Bank Limited and commenced business on 3rd January, 1998. With the introduction of Microfinance Banking, the Bank successfully converted into Unical Microfinance Bank Limited in 2007. The bank was incorporated as a Private Limited Liability Company.
We are recruiting experienced Professionals to fill the position below:
Job Title: External Auditor
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time
Requirements
Must be duly registered and licensed to practice in Nigeria (registration with FRCN is mandatory).
Must be a member of a recognized Professional Accountancy body in Nigeria (ICAN or ANAN).
Must currently be in practice as an accountant and auditor in Nigeria.
Must be independent of Unical Microfinance Bank to avoid conflict of interests.
Must have experience in the audit of Microfinance Banks.
Must have adequate staffing, and an experienced audit team with resources to complete the audit within statutory timelines.
Must have a sound Audit Methodology, quality assurance and understanding of CBN/IFRS requirements.
Must have a good track record.
