Job Title: Fertility Nurse Trainee

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Fertility Nurse Trainee. This opportunity is ideal for a nursing professional who is interested in developing a career in Fertility Care, Reproductive Health, and Assisted Reproductive Services. The successful candidate will receive structured on-the-job training and mentorship while gaining practical exposure to fertility nursing and patient care.
Assist fertility nurses and other members of the clinical team in providing quality nursing care to fertility patients. Support patients throughout fertility assessments, treatment cycles, procedures, and follow-up care. Assist with patient preparation for fertility-related procedures and investigations. Monitor and document patients' vital signs and clinical observations as required. Assist with patient education regarding treatment procedures, medications, appointments, and follow-up instructions. Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and couples undergoing fertility treatment. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation. Assist with coordinating patient appointments, investigations, procedures, and treatment schedules. Support the administration and monitoring of fertility medications under appropriate supervision and established clinical protocols. Assist with the preparation of treatment areas and clinical equipment. Maintain strict standards of infection prevention, patient safety, confidentiality, and clinical practice. Work collaboratively with fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, doctors, and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Participate in structured training, clinical learning activities, and competency assessments. Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Perform other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the supervising nurse or clinical lead.
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid professional license. Previous experience in fertility, reproductive health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, maternity, or a related clinical area is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong interest in fertility care and reproductive medicine. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Good documentation and organizational skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Willingness to learn and develop specialized clinical competencies. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Must be professional, attentive to detail, patient-focused, and emotionally mature. The ideal candidate should be a passionate, teachable, and compassionate Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in fertility and reproductive healthcare. The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to undergo specialized training and grow within the fertility care team.
