 Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary

Our client most urgently seek to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.


Responsibilities

Effectively coordinate the company’s liquidity management procedures ensuring well-priced and tenured credit facilities and maximizing quality yields for idle funds. Generate accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Coordinate operating budget preparation, monitor spending variances, and forecast future cash flow. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and manage audit processes. Manage day-to-day ledger tasks, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and billing workflows. Train, mentor, and direct accounting staff and junior finance personnel Initiate and maintain financial controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to plug loopholes, identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues to minimize financial risk and fraud. Maintain accurate asset register; obtain all procurements or asset acquisition, expenses/payment information to facilitate financial reports as well as effect depreciations. Ensure the substantiation of all financial transactions evidenced by source documents. Carry out periodic and prompt reconciliation of bank statements regularly to ensure they tally with the company’s records with zero tolerance for and prompt recovery of excess charges. Periodically prepare special financial and trend reports to the CEO for decision making. Execute monthly audit of all financial transactions, reporting exceptions and remedial actions Secure all source documents, keeping financial information confidential, ensuring speedy and ease of retrieving them. Ensure accurate inventory management and transparent recording

Qualification / Requirements

Degree / HND in Accounting. Must have obtained a minimum of an Associate of Chartered Accountants (ACA). At least fifteen years work experience in accounts and finance most of which must be from manufacturing. Experience in use of manufacturing/business software like ERP. Must age less than 50years They should be ready to be interviewed PHYSICALLY in Onitsha within one week


Skill Set:

Ability to develop and implement cost saving measures. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Business Acumen. Attention to details.

Accommodation is available. Salary: N700,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
