Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of its polymer manufacturing business.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within the polymer industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive operational excellence, business growth, and organizational performance while fostering a high-performance culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the company's business objectives.
Oversee daily operations across production, finance, sales, supply chain, and administration.
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Monitor organizational performance and ensure the achievement of key business targets.
Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and departmental teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all business functions.
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
Identify business opportunities, manage risks, and support long-term sustainability of the organization.
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, innovation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
A master’s degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.
10–15 years' experience as a General Manager within the polymer manufacturing industry.
Excellent business acumen with proven commercial and financial management skills.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong work ethic with a focused, results-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead organizational transformation and drive business growth.
