Job Title: General Manager, Logistics

A General Manager of Logistics directs the complete supply chain network, managing warehousing, transport fleets, and inventory flow. They optimize operational speed, minimize shipping costs, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure safety compliance across all distribution channelsCore

Responsibilities

Operations Oversight: Manage daily transport, routing, and warehouse storage facilities. Budget & Cost Control: Track fuel expenses, vehicle upkeep, and overall supply chain spending. Team Leadership: Supervise logistics staff, drivers, and shift coordinators. Vendor Management: Negotiate carrier pricing and service level agreements. Process Optimization: Track performance metrics like on-time delivery rates and fleet usage.
