Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
Prepare lesson notes, instructional materials, assessments, and schemes of work.
Assess, record, and report students' academic progress and learning outcomes.
Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive student behaviour.
Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate support for students with different learning needs.
Integrate practical activities, instructional aids, and technology to enhance learning.
Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and other academic records.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, school events, and extracurricular activities as assigned.
Promote students' moral development, discipline, safety, and general wellbeing in line with the school's values.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management to improve learning outcomes.
RequirementsMinimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND in Education or a relevant subject area; a teaching qualification is an advantage.
Relevant teaching experience is an advantage.
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom delivery skills.
Good communication, organisation, classroom management, and assessment skills.
Ability to use appropriate teaching aids and technology to support learning.
Professionalism, patience, integrity, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Willingness to work collaboratively and uphold the school's academic standards and values.
