 Job Title: Graduate Trainee (Production Supervisor)

Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited is seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and career-driven Graduate Trainee to join our Production Department. This role is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, production management, factory operations, process improvement, quality management, and team supervision. The successful candidate will undergo structured practical training and gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of production operations while working alongside experienced production professionals.


Key Responsibilities

Assist in supervising and coordinating daily production activities. Support the Production Supervisor in achieving daily and monthly production targets. Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to approved procedures. Assist with manpower planning, deployment, and effective utilization of production workers. Monitor workers' productivity, attendance, punctuality, and compliance with company policies. Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with established SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements. Assist in identifying production bottlenecks, downtime, wastage, and operational challenges. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production-related issues. Assist in monitoring the proper handling and utilization of raw materials and production resources. Promote good housekeeping, workplace safety, discipline, and 5S practices within the production area. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Prepare or assist with daily production reports and communicate operational issues to management. Carry out other duties assigned by the Production Manager or designated supervisor.


Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in  Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Production, Sciences, Management, or a related discipline. Must have successfully completed NYSC. 0–2 years of experience, preferably with exposure to supervisory, production, factory, or team-management responsibilities. Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing company as a Supervisor, Factory Helper, Production Assistant, Team Lead, or similar role will be an added advantage. Strong interest in manufacturing and production operations. Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate and work effectively with production workers. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines and targets. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer applications. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced factory environment and operate shifts when required. Must demonstrate high levels of discipline, integrity, accountability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
