Westfield Consulting Limited - Our client in the Financial Business News (Media) space is looking for qualified and passionate candidates to fill the position below:  Job Title: Head, Human Resources

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resource practice and processes and ensuring the proper implementation of the company’s strategy and objectives. You are also responsible for promoting corporate values and culture, and enabling success through job design, recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee relations and talent management.


Key Responsibilities
HR Strategic Planning:

Develop human resources strategy in line with the company’s overall corporate strategy. Review, amend and draft job descriptions for all job roles and functions. Formulate HR Plans, Policies & procedures according to organizational objectives.


HR Administration:

Prepare HR budget and ensure compliance with the budget.


Manpower Planning:

Organize meetings with Senior Management and make plans for the company’s manpower requirements. Set up and maintain succession planning framework for relevant job roles and functions across the company

 Recruitment management:

Develop a robust recruitment and selection process aimed at hiring top talents. Decide recruitment channels.


Compensations Schemes & Benefits Management:

Review and approve the compensations & benefits management system: Salaries, rewards and benefit system.


Performance Appraisals and Management:

Formulate effective Performance Appraisal/Management Policy, Procedures and ensure its compliance. Review and analyse the performance appraisal management process.


Employees Relations Management:

Set up policies and procedures for the treatment of employee horizontal and vertical inter-organizational conflicts. Enhance organizational communications. Encourage and develop employee communication. Ensure proper management of Staff amenities and occupational and health safety.


Training and staff Development:

Identify the areas for development. Explore the new skills to enhance productivity. Administer the Training Policy.


Requirements

First Degree in any discipline Relevant professional certifications such as Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SPHR, GPHR and/or a second degree are Minimum of a first degree Minimum of 8 years in the HR role.


Knowledge:

Knowledge of financial service channels.arket/y Knowledge of customer needs across different segments such as income, geography, culture, demography and markets (Market segmentation and analysis). Knowledge of the money markets. Knowledge of micro and macro economics Knowledge of financial markets analysis.


Salary
