Job Title: HSE Inspector

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with HSE policies and standards.
Identify unsafe acts and conditions and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in implementing and monitoring HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
Support incident and accident investigations, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions.
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and assist in preparing regular reports.
Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s (B.Sc) Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience as an HSE Officer or Inspector, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
Sound understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and hazard control.
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISPON will be an added advantage.
