We seek to recruit a strong, practical and systems-driven Health and Safety Officer to support the next phase of growth, operational discipline, and certification readiness across its forestry operations in Ondo State. This is a high-impact role suited to an experienced HSE professional with strong field capability, excellent training and leadership skills, and demonstrable experience supporting greenfield implementation of ISO 45001 in operational environments. Experience in forestry, plantations, agribusiness, wood processing or similarly high-risk sectors will be a strong advantage. The successful candidate will help drive legal compliance, OHS systems implementation, training and workforce awareness, incident prevention, contractor management, emergency preparedness, and audit / certification readiness across plantation, nursery, workshop, transport, harvesting, camp and associated operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

OHS Systems, Compliance; Operational Control ISO 45001 Certification Readiness Training, Awareness & Team Building Field Supervision, Inspections; Incident Management OHS Reporting Support.

At least a Degree Qualification in any field preferably in OHS and/or Environment / Forestry Management or Engineering? Demonstrate literacy in computers. A basic qualification would be advantageous. Have a qualification in other OHS/Environment short courses. Have a good report writing skills.
