Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design, developing students’ creative and technical skills, and preparing them for their IGCSE examinations and coursework.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality IGCSE Art & Design lessons.
Prepare students for IGCSE coursework and final examinations.
Provide effective feedback and support students in developing their portfolios.
Track and monitor student progress.
Maintain high academic and professional standards.
Participate in exhibitions, art projects, and other school activities.
RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
2–3 years’ proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design.
IGCSE teaching experience is mandatory. Candidates without IGCSE experience should not apply.
Strong understanding of the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design curriculum, coursework, assessment criteria, and examination requirements.
Demonstrable experience preparing students for IGCSE examinations.
Strong portfolio of student work and/or evidence of successful student outcomes.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire students and develop their creativity, technical skills, and confidence.
