Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inspection Engineer Trainee to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist in the inspection of customers' Lifting equipment and accessories, ensuring compliance with JC International’s operating procedures and applicable industry standards.
Under the supervision of an Inspection Engineer, you will coordinate on-site activities to maintain operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare test piece surfaces for inspection activities.
Conduct inspections under the supervision of the Inspection Engineer.
Generate accurate and detailed inspection reports.
Enforce compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
Perform proof load testing and thorough examinations of lifting equipment and cargo carrying units under supervision.
Carry out Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE) following JC International’s procedures and customer specifications under the guidance of an Inspection Engineer.
Ensure job completion forms are signed off by clients upon task completion.
Attend daily toolbox meetings to review safety and operational plans.
Participate in weekly reviews of operating procedures and standards.
Inspect and verify the readiness of materials and tools before starting tasks.
Record equipment identification numbers in the mobilization booklet.
Qualifications & Requirements:BEng / BTech in Engineering of the engineering discipline
Up to 3 years of experience in a similar inspection engineering role is an added advantage.
Strong communication skills.
