Internal Audit Specialist  Nigeria

One Acre, founded in 2006, supplies smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. We provide quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural trainings to improve harvests. We measure our success by our ability to make farmers more prosperous: On average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund. We serve more than 800,000 farm families in Eastern and Southern Africa, with more than 7,500 full-time staff, and we aim to serve 1 million farm families by 2020.  Job Title: Internal Audit Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Contract Duration: 2 Years About the Role

Seeking an Internal Audit Specialist for our Growth Country Units to supervise key audits and strengthen operational controls. Partner with senior leaders to drive efficiency, prevent fraud, and safeguard financial health as we scale.

Plan and supervise the execution of medium-complexity audits and management requests with little or no manager support:

Own execution of internal audit tests Deliver high-quality reviews in compliance with Internal Audit Methodology Coordinate the team to ensure delivery of the audit report and management reports in compliance with IA methodology Innovate and solve audit plan execution challenges/ problems (e.g swapping audits due to other conflicting events) Support the delivery of IA OKRs as they relate to the country program

Own findings related to team lead level or defined grade 2&3:

Report  findings to management Work with management responsible for the findings to develop resolutions Regularly follow up with management responsible to ensure findings are resolved

For this role specifically, you will have:

3+ years of Audit experience 3+ years of Experience with accounting and auditing applications such as SAP, Symbiant 3+ years of Experience with Data Analytics Tools such as Power BI Audit Findings and Report-writing experience.
