Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Inventory Officer to manage the inventory operations, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing expired and obsolete inventory, thereby maintaining the standards of excellence.
As an Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and supporting the smooth operation of the supermarket.
ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and tracking inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Performing regular stock audits and reconciling discrepancies.
Coordinating with suppliers to manage orders and deliveries.
Organizing and maintaining the inventory storage areas.
Assisting with the implementation of inventory management systems.
Generating reports and analyzing inventory data to optimize stock levels.
Collaborating with store staff to ensure accurate product placement and availability.
Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages
Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory
Place orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
Generate inventory reports detailing stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory aging.
