Key Purpose
The key purpose of this role is to carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and packaged product.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain and calibrate all inspection equipment
Verify equipment against manualised procedures so as to achieve accurate & reliable results
Interpret & interrogate data in order to assess equipment & operator performance
Prepare samples and conduct analysis
Analyse lab samples and produce results as per set standards
Maintain housekeeping standards
Comply with safety, health and environment procedures and legislation
Support problem solving initiatives
Adhere to the PPE policy and identify unsafe practices
Communicate effectively in the workplace
Contribute to self and team development
Minimum Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Biotechnology / Microbiology
A working experience in FMCG Company will be an added advantage
