Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Lead Auditor to lead and deliver high-quality internal audit engagements across the organisation.
The successful candidate will assess risk, evaluate controls, identify improvement opportunities, and provide clear, practical recommendations to senior management.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, lead, and execute risk-based audit assignments from scoping through to reporting.
Assess the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls, and operational processes.
Lead audit teams, allocate work, review working papers, and ensure assignments meet quality standards and deadlines.
Prepare clear audit reports outlining findings, risks, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
Present audit outcomes to management and relevant committees.
Monitor agreed actions and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Support the development and continuous improvement of the annual audit plan and audit methodology.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices.
Build effective working relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and professional objectivity.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional certification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent.
5–7 years’ audit, risk, compliance, or internal-control experience, including experience leading audit engagements.
Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk-based auditing, and control frameworks.
Excellent analytical, report-writing, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability and sound professional judgement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/data-analysis tools.
