Job Title: Lead, Tax and Expense Management
Location: Lagos
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax and Expense Management professional to lead the bank's tax compliance and cost control functions, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance and value for money.
ResponsibilitiesManage the bank's tax obligations (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT) and ensure timely, accurate filings and remittances
Oversee expense management, including budget tracking, accruals and cost control
Reconcile tax and expense accounts and resolve variances
Support internal and external audits and tax authority engagements
Monitor changes in tax laws and advise on their impact on the bank
Prepare periodic reports for management.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CITN or equivalent)
Relevant experience in tax and expense management, preferably in financial services
Strong working knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations
Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
