TAAS COLLEGE, Ibadan isa Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to the secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Location: Apata / Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics effectively at the secondary school level.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote students' understanding and achievement.
Conduct continuous assessments, examinations, and timely grading of students' work.
Monitor students' academic progress and provide necessary support.
Participate in departmental and school-wide academic activities.
Maintain accurate academic records and reports.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc./B.Tech. with PGDE) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
4–7 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum, including WAEC, NECO, and JAMB requirements.
Ability to prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, assessments, and students' progress reports.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Proficiency in the use of educational technology and digital teaching tools is an added advantage.
Must be passionate about students' academic development and character formation.
TRCN certification will be an added advantage.
Applicants must reside in Ibadan or within close proximity to Ibadan, Oyo State.
SalaryN70,000 - N100,000 monthly.
