Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with the approved curriculum.
Teach students using effective instructional methods that promote understanding and academic excellence.
Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress.
Prepare examination questions, assignments, and continuous assessment records.
Maintain accurate student records and submit reports as required.
Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.
Provide guidance and academic support to students.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and school management to achieve educational goals.
RequirementsMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE or equivalent) in the relevant discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in a secondary school.
Excellent mastery of the subject area.
Strong classroom management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of lesson planning and student assessment.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment.
Ability to use modern teaching methods and basic ICT tools for teaching.
Ability to prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations.
