Medical Laboratory Scientist Role

Salary Range₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month

JOB DUTIES


Devises and adapts technical procedures and modifies equipment, as needed. Keeps informed of new analytical or manufacturing methods.
Receive urine, collect blood or other samples for experimentation and analysis.
Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
Record all data and results in specified forms paper and electronic with accuracy and responsibility. Manage and operate laboratory equipment.
Test and study blood, urine and other body fluids.
Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards


Administrative Duties:


Act as the front-line customer service support for incoming and outgoing calls from customers, clients, potential clients, and doctors/centers for lab results.
Participate / support all company\'s marketing and branding campaigns.
Coordinate courier services and maintain professional and courteous behavior to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide other registration/clerical and billing support as required.
Ensure proper housekeeping.
Perform all duties and responsibilities with understanding and respect for the patient’s rights and strict confidentiality.
Perform other related duties as required.


Requirements / Qualifications


At least 2 years of relevant work experience
Required: registered with the Medical Laboratory scientist council of Nigeria
Must reside in Abia state, Nigeria
