Job Summary
To support IT governance, procedures, reporting, internal communications, quality control, and HSE coordination across a large and complex Oil & Gas operation.
Candidates with a background in Media & Communications combined with IT knowledge/experience are encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesMethods & Procedures:Monitor compliance with IT project methodologies, procedures, SLAs and KPIs.
Review and regularly update IT policies, procedures and processes in line with Group standards.
Ensure IT procedures and documentation are properly maintained and published.
Support quality control and continuous improvement of IT processes.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date IT asset records within the CMDB.
Communications:Develop and publish validated IT communications covering awareness, system changes, major activities and incidents.
Communicate through appropriate channels including email, intranet, SMS, desk phones and digital media.
Develop trackable IT communication templates and monitor communication effectiveness.
Support IT change-management communications and user engagement.
Develop communication strategies that improve awareness, user satisfaction and understanding of IT services.
Planning, Reporting & HSE:
Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc IT activity reports for Management and HQ.
Participate in IT quality-control audits.
Act as HSE liaison for the IT division across the affiliate.
Coordinate and document quarterly HSE meetings.
Monitor medical fitness certification and mandatory HSE training compliance.
Support company-wide HSE awareness initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant HSE standards.
RequirementsB.Sc./B.Eng. in Information Systems, IT, Media Communications or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years' professional experience in Information Technology or Media Communications.
Knowledge of current and emerging IT solutions and their application to business needs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good technical writing, reporting and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with IT governance, procedures, reporting, change management or internal communications will be an advantage.
Candidates with Media & Communications experience and strong IT knowledge are encouraged to apply.
