Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistant
Locations: Maiduguri - Borno and Yobe (with frequent travel to LGAs where the project will be implemented).
Job type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Functions / Day to day activities:Support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities.
Assist in developing and administering data collection tools.
Conduct routine field monitoring, data verification, and quality assurance.
Compile, clean, and analyze project data.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Public Health).
At least 1 year of experience in M&E or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Own a working laptop.
Ability to travel to field locations within project implementation areas when required.
Strong commitment to data quality, confidentiality, and organizational values.
Desirable skills
A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action in a timely manner
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and either Kanuri or Hausa.
Interpersonal Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships and maintaining effective communication with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and captivate an audience.
IT Skills: in regard to the report writing
Organizational Competence: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
