Slum and Rural Health Initiative is a nonprofit organization that started operations in 2017 and is officially registered in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and the Gambia It improves access to healthcare information and services in Africa, especially in vulnerable and underserved communities using the tools of advocacy, research, and technology. We are a ‘multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, social scientists information technology experts, researchers, graphic designers, and social entrepreneurs who are passionate about changing the sad narrative of healthcare information and service delivery in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and other parts of Africa.

Role Overview
Capture high-quality photographic and video content that documents and communicates SRHIN's programmes, impact, and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute photo/video shoots for field programmes, events, and campaigns
Edit and produce polished photo and video content for various platforms
Maintain and manage photography/videography equipment
Ensure ethical, consent-based, and dignified representation of community members in visual content
Archive and organise visual assets for future use
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or relevant certification in Photography, Film, Media Production, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years' professional photography/videography experience
Proficiency in relevant editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop)
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, ideally in development or health contexts
Willingness to travel to field/community locations
