A&H Farm farm is looking to employ an Intelligent and Energetic Poultry Farm Manager to join our team. The successful Candidate will be reporting to the owner of the business and will be managing our layers/broiler pens.

Key Responsibilities:

To Manage Layer/Broiler Pen House(s)
Supervision of Rearing of Layers from DOC to POL
Supervision of Rearing of broilers from day old until sale
Work with Vet to Supervise, train and coordinate activities of poultry attendants.
Manage rearing and Caging of Point of Lays
Coordinating eggs collection, storage, and trans-shipment
Ensure proper feeding of Birds in assigned Pens
Observing the birds and report any cases of diseases or infections to resident Vet.
Daily stock keeping of feeds, birds and egg production
Prepares worker attendance, egg production, feed consumption.
Directs maintenance and repair of Pen facilities and equipment.

Requirements & Qualification

A minimum of HND / B.Sc. , Animal Science or veterinary science.
2 years relevant work experience.
Experience in Rearing POL and broiler day olds (Compulsory)
Very recent experience in a Poultry farming
The ability to make decisions in stressful environments.
Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note We are looking for a flexible candidate, ready to work in other parts of the business(Fish/Crops) if need be.
