Job Title: Primary Class Teacher

Location: Ifo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess an HND / NCE / BEd with 0-2 years work experience.

Skills Required:
Teaching Basics:

Know how to explain lessons clearly for young kids.
Teach reading (using sounds and letters) and math (using real-life examples like counting fruits).

Classroom Control:

Set simple rules so children listen and stay focused.
Use praise and rewards for good behavior.

Understanding Children:

Be patient and kind - notice if a child is sad or needs help.
Respect all cultures/languages in Nigeria (like using local stories).

Talking with Others:

Update parents about their child’s progress (even via text messages).
Work with other teachers to share ideas.

Problem-Solving:

Make cheap learning tools (e.g., sticks for counting).
Use simple tech like phones or radio lessons if books are scarce.
Always Learning
Attend teacher training.
Test children gently to see if they understand.

Benefits

Salary: N60,000 - N80,000 monthly.
