Job Description
Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science and other assigned subjects.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, class activities and assessments.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports effective learning.
Monitor, assess and document pupils’ academic progress and overall development.
Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support to pupils who require additional assistance.
Use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, projects, discussions and practical exercises, to enhance learning.
Promote good behaviour, discipline, respect, teamwork and positive social skills among pupils.
Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks, school activities and other assigned periods.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans and pupils’ progress.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding pupils’ academic performance, behaviour and development.
Work collaboratively with other teachers, school management and support staff.
Participate in school events, meetings, extracurricular activities and professional development programmes.
Ensure the classroom is clean, organised, safe and conducive to learning.
Follow all school policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
Stay updated on effective teaching practices and continuously improve instructional skills
