About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee production operations and ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing or production, with proven supervisory or managerial experience. Experience within food processing, agricultural processing, or a similar industrial environment is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure efficient and timely production. Manage factory operations and ensure production processes are carried out effectively. Coordinate the effective utilisation of production resources to optimise productivity and minimise waste. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Supervise and manage production teams, providing effective leadership and direction. Ensure machinery and production equipment are properly maintained and operational. Work closely with relevant teams to address production issues and minimise downtime. Ensure production activities comply with quality control requirements and applicable HSE standards. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and relevant operational records. Identify and resolve operational and production-related challenges promptly. Ensure production targets and operational objectives are achieved efficiently.


Requirements

B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production, with proven supervisory or managerial experience. Experience in food processing, agricultural processing, or a similar industrial environment is highly desirable. Relevant professional certification is an added advantage. Strong expertise in production planning, factory operations, resource management, and cost reduction. Good understanding of machinery maintenance, quality control, and HSE compliance. Strong leadership, team management, continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.  Candidates should be based in Agbara, Ogun State, or its immediate environs, given the location and shift requirements of the role.

Monday – Saturday, with shift work (including night shifts) Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sunday: Overtime, either 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Benefit

Salary: N400,000 – N500,000 per month Lunch Sunday overtime
