Job Description
Create daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules based on sales orders and inventory needs.
Monitor the plastic injection molding, blow molding, and foam insulation/assembly lines for coolers and flasks.
Enforce strict quality checks to prevent defects in plastic molding, sealing, thermal insulation, and finishing.
Establish quality control standards to ensure products are free from defects
Analyze manufacturing data and test results to make improvements
Establish, monitor, and adjust parameters (temperature, pressure, cooling time) for molding machines.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize material usage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other departments.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in production technology.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate shift supervisors, machine operators, and assembly workers.
Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance for extrusion and injection molding machines to minimize downtime.
Ensure the factory floor follows all health, environmental, and workplace safety rules.
Track raw material usage (like PP, HDPE, and PU foam) to reduce scrap and lower production costs.
Troubleshooting system failures
Qualification
B.ENG./HND in Engineering or Natural Sciences
Higher certifications and qualifications is an advantage.
Requirements:Possess a minimum of 10 years practical experience 7 of which must have been obtained from plastics manufacturing companies
Skill Set:Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Attention to details
Leadership skills.
SalaryN400,000 - N500,000 per month.
