Program Oversight Specialist / Project Manager

The Project Director is tasked with overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from inception to completion. This role ensures that initiatives are completed within the specified timeframe, adhere to the defined scope, and remain within budget constraints, all while aligning with strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, coordination skills, and a proven track record of successful project delivery across multidisciplinary teams in challenging environments.

Position Overview


Establish project parameters, goals, and deliverables in accordance with organizational objectives.
Create and oversee comprehensive project plans, timelines, financial allocations, and resource distribution.
Guide and synchronize cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely execution of project tasks.
Recognize, evaluate, and address project risks, challenges, and interdependencies.
Maintain quality standards, ensure compliance, and uphold documentation requirements throughout the project's duration.
Monitor and communicate project progress, escalating issues when necessary and proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
Act as the project's representative during Steering Committee meetings, delivering updates on progress, highlighting key risks, and presenting change requests to maintain alignment with executive expectations.


Qualifications


Valid Project Management Certification – PMP or equivalent (non-negotiable).
At least 7 years of experience managing projects from start to finish.
Demonstrated history of successful project delivery in sectors such as construction, infrastructure, energy, or agriculture.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, stakeholder management expertise, and problem-solving aptitude.
Mastery of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Project, SmartSheets, Monday.com).
