Job Title: Quality Assurance Intern
Location: Lagos (Remote)

The QA Intern will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that Expedier's products, features, and systems meet expected quality standards before and after deployment. The role involves assisting with testing, identifying defects, documenting issues, and supporting the team in delivering a reliable user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, eager to learn, and has a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
Assist in testing new features, product updates, and system changes. Execute test cases and follow established testing procedures. Perform functional and regression testing to identify issues. Verify that fixes and updates work as expected. Support testing across different devices, browsers, and environments where required.
Identify, document, and report bugs and system issues clearly. Provide relevant steps, screenshots, and information to help reproduce identified issues. Track reported issues and follow up on their resolution. Retest resolved issues to confirm that fixes have been properly implemented. Escalate critical or recurring issues to the appropriate team members.
Assist in creating and maintaining test cases and test scenarios. Document testing results and outcomes accurately. Maintain records of identified defects and their status. Support the development and updating of QA documentation and testing procedures.
Conduct regular checks to ensure product features function as expected. Assist in identifying areas where product quality or user experience can be improved. Monitor recurring issues and communicate relevant observations to the QA team. Ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines.
Work closely with Developers, Product, Operations, and other relevant teams during testing activities. Communicate identified issues and testing results clearly to relevant team members. Participate in team meetings, testing reviews, and product discussions. Support the team in maintaining consistent quality standards across products and releases.
Stay updated on basic QA practices, testing tools, and software testing methodologies. Assist with any additional QA-related tasks assigned from time to time.
Recent graduate or currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Basic understanding of software testing and quality assurance concepts. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to follow testing procedures and document findings accurately. Strong organizational and time management skills. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
