Job Title: Safety Officer

Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian health and safety regulations and company safety standards.
Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety awareness training.
Reduction in workplace accidents and incidents.
Compliance with HSE regulations and internal policies.
Timely completion of safety inspections and audits.
Percentage of employees trained on safety procedures.
Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
Availability and proper use of PPE across departments.
Successful completion of emergency drills and statutory compliance activities.
SalaryN300,000 - N400,000 / month.
