Job Title: SAP FICO Super User

Job Summary
The SAP FICO Super User will provide functional support for SAP Finance and Controlling processes, serving as the link between Finance, end users, and the IT / SAP support team.
The role involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting financial closing activities, training users, improving business processes, and ensuring effective use of SAP FICO across the Nigerian operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line SAP FICO support and guidance to end users, resolving or escalating system issues.
Support Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) processes.
Support integration between SAP Production Planning (PP) and FICO, particularly production costs, goods movements, and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing, financial postings, reconciliations, and reporting.
Participate in system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and SAP implementation or rollout projects.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to Finance and IT teams.
Develop user guides and SOPs, and train existing and new SAP users.
Maintain accurate financial and master data while ensuring compliance with internal controls and Nigerian tax requirements.
Prepare financial and management reports and support SAP-related business requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field with 5 – 8 years of overall finance or business systems experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in a live environment.
Strong working knowledge of SAP AR, AP, GL, AA, and CO modules.
Practical understanding of SAP PP integration with FICO, particularly production costing and inventory accounting.
Previous experience as an SAP Super User, Key User, or Power User is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, including VAT and WHT, and statutory financial reporting requirements.
ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
SAP S/4HANA experience is an added advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes within SAP.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to train and support non-technical users.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
Ability to manage competing priorities, particularly during financial closing periods.
