Job Description
The Security Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising security personnel, coordinating field operations, enforcing security standards, and ensuring effective service delivery across client locations.
ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and enforce operational discipline across all assigned security locations.
Conduct unannounced inspections to verify guard presence, alertness, compliance, and post coverage.
Ensure strict adherence to post orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client security requirements.
Monitor security personnel performance and take immediate corrective action against negligence or misconduct.
Ensure timely deployment, replacement, and effective coverage of all assigned security posts.
Identify security threats, assess vulnerabilities, and implement proactive risk-control measures.
Take charge of incident response, coordinate emergency actions, and ensure prompt escalation to management.
Manage client complaints, resolve operational challenges, and maintain professional client relationships.
Verify uniforms, equipment, communication devices, and operational readiness of deployed personnel.
Recommend staff training, commendations, disciplinary action, and performance improvements.
Ensure supervisors and guards maintain accurate occurrence books, handover notes, and incident records.
Enforce accountability at every level and ensure no security breach or operational failure goes unreported.
Provide management with timely intelligence, operational updates, and recommendations to strengthen service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of HND or equivalent qualification. Relevant security, military, or law enforcement training is an advantage.
2–5 years’ experience in security operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:Strong leadership and team management.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Incident management and problem-solving.
Attention to detail and sound judgment.
Ability to work under pressure and enforce discipline.
